Continuing the series of journals published by the Latvian Prison Administration, the latest issue of the Administration's journal, the 2024 edition, has been published with the support of a Norway Grants. This issue of the magazine covers topics relevant to the system and provides an opportunity to get to know the Latvian Prisons and Central Administration, as well as the NFI project team, who work for public safety on a daily basis. The magazine also provides information on current developments in the field of social correction, historical overviews and up-to-date statistics.

Also, in this issue of the magazine you will also find an interview with the current and former Heads of the Prison Administration, where we met the former Heads of the Administration Vitolds Zahars and Ilona Spure and the current Head Dmitrijs Kalins, as well as an interview with the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Latvia Inese Lībiņa - Egnere.

The magazine has been published by the Latvian Prison Administration for 5 years, with the aim of raising awareness among prison staff and partners about the history, development and future plans of the Latvian correctional system

Everyone can get acquainted with the content of the magazine in digital format - learn more about the work of the Latvian Prison Administration, explore the environment of Latvian prisons, find out interesting facts about their history, read interviews with officials, as well as get acquainted with other topical issues related to the execution of sentences in Latvia.
