From 29 to 31 August 2023, within the framework of the Project Norwegian financial instrument sub-activity No.2.3.4. “ToT (Training of Trainers)” and in collaboration with colleagues from Norway, the training “Use of training video programmes in staff education, managing work in a group” was held for the Training centre senior teacher and future managers of 9 non-formal education programmes for adults “Good Prison Officer”, “Dynamic Safety” and “Promoting Changes”.
The aim of training was:
- To promote mutual cohesion and dialogue among future programme managers;
- To update issues about prison staff needs, work style and everyday life;
- To practice exercises and learn the basic principles of group management.
It is planned that the existing and future programme managers will organize monthly trainings for prison staff in order to promote the formation and strengthening of a common attitude, value system from the perspective of dynamic security.
Training was held within the framework of the project “Establishment of Training centre infrastructure and model prison blocks for training opportunities in the Olaine prison territory” of the Norwegian financial instrument programme “Correctional Services”.
