On February 1, 2024 Latvian Prison Administration launched an advertising campaign with the aim to raise public awareness of the available vacancies and to promote the image of LPA, which will help to recruit new employees.
This campaign will also help raise public awareness of the work of the Latvian Correctional Services system and the role of NFI funding in building a safe and inclusive society. Within the framework of the NFI project "Establishment of Training centre infrastructure and model prison blocks for training opportunities in the Olaine prison territory", 4 video materials were created to approach and invite the target audience to join the Latvian Prison Administration.
Videos in an easy-to-understand format were published on the Latvian Prison Administration website and on social media, as well as broadcast as commercials on ReTV television channel in order to raise public awareness and inform the population of Latvia, potential employees, students and other interested persons about the available jobs at the Latvian Prison Administration.
These videos reflect how it is possible to combine work in the LPA with studies, sport and physical activities, as well as how the job responsibilities and duties do not interfere with the successful planning of private life and free time.
