On November 28-29, 2023 participants from the Administration of Liepāja Prison, Jēkabpils Prison, Valmiera Prison, Iļģuciems Prison, Riga Central Prison and Cēsis Correctional Institution for Juveniles, as well as the delegates from the Training Center participated in the TOT (Training of Trainers) training organised within the NFI project.
Within the framework of the project, training is being carried out for a new group of TOT trainers who will cooperate with the existing trainers. Lecturers from Norwegian cooperation partners participated in these trainings as instructors.
These trainings provided information on the use of educational videos in the learning process, highlighting the topic of 'Change Management'.
TOT TRAININGS MAIN TOPICS:
- Dynamic security;
- A good prison officer/employee;
- Promoting change in difficult situations.
Training was held within the framework of the project “Establishment of Training centre infrastructure and model prison blocks for training opportunities in the Olaine prison territory” of the Norwegian financial instrument programme “Correctional Services”.
