Within the framework of the project, a meeting was organized on March 4, 2021, during which the representatives of the project management team addressed the heads of the prisons Security and Monitoring Departments about the planned implementation of the improved mentor system.
During the meeting, a discussion was held about the improved mentor training program, education and mentor selection process. During the meeting, answers were given to the clarifying questions asked by heads of the prisons Security and Monitoring Departments, as well as recommendations were received for more successful implementation of the program in daily work.
The aim of the improved mentor training program is to provide correctional service personnel with education appropriate for the execution of modern sentences.
